    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Marketing and Brand Manager – Flypaper, (MBM), is accountable for the execution of a complete marketing plan for all Flypaper Agencies. The MBM will build and develop sound working relationships with all Flypaper Agency Managers, The Flypaper Leadership Team, local newspaper leadership, and key WEHCO Corporate team members. While a list of necessary functions and tasks is listed below, the MBM needs to be a creative thinker, always looking for new and cost-effective way to increase Flypaper’s visibility, inbound leads, and brand recognition.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Digital Advertising for the Agency

    • All functions and tasks associated with the Flypaper brand and branding
    • Assisting in recruitment for all agency personnel including writing and managing job postings
    • Identify business and consumer events and expos where Flypaper should have a presence or attendance and coordinate with the local markets to take advantage of such events.
    • Assist with new market launches This may include designing and ordering promotional material, collecting market-level data, developing relationships with local business groups and chambers of commerce, and formulation of an overall marketing launch plan. This may also include travel into the new markets during the launch period.
    • Maintain, create and solicit testimonials
    • Flypaper website work with the Operations Team to ensure that our website is up to date reflects all of our current offerings and services and is best positioned to convert visitors into prospects.

    Inbound Lead Generation

    · Content development

    · Utilization of the HubSpot Marketing Hub for both outreach and communication with our current client base.

    · Email marketing – Write, design, and manage email marketing campaigns targeted to both prospects and current clients

    · Management of internal WEHCO print ads in newspapers, magazines, etc. and digital display ads for Flypaper on company-owned websites

    · SEM management and reporting – Partner with the Operations Team to efficiently manage Flypaper’s SEM efforts with an eye towards increased lead conversion. Provide monthly readouts to senior leadership on SEM performance.

    · SEO for the Flypaper Web site – Partner with the operations team in an effort to constantly improve relevancy for key searches and improved page position. Provide monthly readouts to senior leadership.

    · List development and management

    · Reporting and tracking of all inbound leads, measuring source effectiveness, ROI, close rate, etc.)

    Agency Outreach

    • SWAG management both internal and external for all branded merchandise
    • Events and Expos – Coordinate attendance at key events as both an exhibitor or attendee as needed.
    • Manage Flypaper memberships for external organizations, (Chambers of Commerce, industry-related groups, etc.).
    • Assist in identifying speaking opportunities for the MBM and local leaders.
    • Create, edit and maintain external-facing marketing materials

    Agency Summit

    • Planning and coordination support
    • Material development – work with the leadership and local management teams for content creation, agenda, themes, and material ordering

    Administration

    • Member of the leadership committee
    • Participate and help develop product and sales initiatives
    • Onboarding experience coordination
    • CRM / HubSpot support for Flypaper Resources

    ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

    Other duties as assigned

    EDUCATION:

    Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field

    EXPERIENCE:

    Three years of marketing experience; internet/digital marketing preferred.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    Strong leadership abilities

    Ability to assist with developing team members consistent in all job functions

    Superior internet/digital product knowledge and personal selling skills.

    Strong Microsoft Office skills including Powerpoint, Excel, and Word

    Good organization and communication skills are required (verbal and written).

    Ability to share a vision and gain buy-in (build loyalty).

    A performance-oriented leader with sound ability to manage a team to daily outcomes.

    Ability to achieve goals through the team.

    Local market analytics and a solid set of computer skills are needed.

    Must be able to identify and diagnose issues to ensure achievement of goals.

    Develops a work environment that motivates and maintains a high level of employee performance and morale.

    Hold team members accountable to performance metrics and acts quickly when performance issues arise

    TRANSPORTATION:

    Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Driver’s License.

    Driving records must meet the requirements set in the “Personal Vehicles Used for Company Business” policy.

    Must provide own immediate, dependable transportation (mileage reimbursable).

    Must provide the company with proof of insurance.

    Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
