Keeps official animal records, maintains all state and federal permits associated with the animal collection, and submits annual reports. Complies and maintains records of business transactions, animal transactions and office activities.

Education, and/ or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college; and two years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1 year or more experience within the Zoo field.

Organizational and Time Management Skills:
Ability to keep accurate and complete records in an organized useful manner. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability
to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and the general public.
