Registrar Assistant jobs in Muskegon, MI

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team in our lively children's clinic! We are looking for part time (3 days/week) or full time (4 days/week). Experience is necessary. Certification is not required. TAPAC's goal is to provide quality and caring service to all our patients from new parents caring for their first child to adolescents stepping out into the world to go to college. Responsibilities:

• Provide basic patient care and treatment
• Collaborate with registered nurses and providers
• Prepare rooms for patients
• Prepare charts for upcoming patient visits
• Assist with procedures when necessary
• Recording vitals
• Giving Immunizations

This job requires working some Saturdays (8am-12pm) on a rotation. We are closed Sundays and all major Holidays.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Familiarity with medical tools and equipment preferred
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination

COVID-19 considerations: Covid and Flu vaccination mandatory.

Education:

• High school or equivalent required

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
