Registrar oversees university/college's system of student records. Responsible for class registration, assigning classroom space, and updating student records. Being a Registrar ensures that all requirements have been met prior to graduation and that diplomas are factually correct. Determines students who have achieved certain scholastic goals, such as the Dean's List. Additionally, Registrar requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Registrar contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.     EDUCATION
    Minimum:  High school diploma or GED required.

    EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
    Minimum:  Excellent customer service skills and data entry skills required.
    Preference:  At least one year working in a hospital setting with work experience interviewing patients promptly and accurately. 

     

    The Registrar position is a critical role in any healthcare organization as it impacts customer experience, quality outcomes, and financial performance. In this role, you will work alongside other Patient Access team members in registering patients for both Outpatient visits and Emergency Department visits.  Registration duties will include admission processes, care coordination, and demographic/insurance verification.

    A successful individual in this role must possess a high level of integrity, must be able to quickly and accurately complete patient registrations, and must show the commitment to work hard and be nice to people.
