POSITION: Business Affairs Generalist

LOCATION: NDSCS – Wahpeton, North Dakota

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Full-time, 12-month, benefited position

JOB SUMMARY: The NDSCS Business Affairs Office is looking to add a Generalist to their team. The selected candidate for this position will have excellent customer service skills and be detail-oriented. The position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, accounting duties, travel and expense processing, and serving as a backup for accounts payable, cashiering, and student inquiries.

NDSCS offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes single or family health insurance coverage with premiums paid for by the College – with an effective date for new employees the first of the month following the date of hire. SALARY: $30,000 - $45,000, commensurate with education and experience

• 2-year college degree or 4 years of work experience in a related field
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience working in an office setting
• Microsoft Office experience
• Accounting experience

• Business Administration or Accounting degree
• Accounts Payable experience
• Accounts Receivable experience
• General Ledger experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• PeopleSoft experience
