Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home directs the programs and staff of the rehabilitation services department for a nursing home. Develops and implements rehabilitation programs by working with the operational leadership team and medical staff. Being a Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home sets and implements guidelines for rehabilitation programs such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Responsible for the direction, planning, and operation of the rehabilitation function. Additionally, Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home develops and implements policies and procedures regarding staffing and budget. May require an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. May require a professional certification. The Rehabilitation Director - Nursing Home typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Temporary Nursing Assistant Qualifications:
- Temporary Nursing Assistant Certificate 8 HR Course Prior to January 11,2022
- Basic computer skills
Temporary Nursing Assistant Duties:
- Recording vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse rate, as requested by staff
- Reminding patients to take medications and other nutritional supplements as needed
- The ability to think and work independently, with direction from a team leader or manager, while maintaining efficient and consistent communications at all times
- Provide adjunct patient care as needed. This can include delivering ice packs and dressings to help relieve pain while in therapy or baths for soothing purposes after their session has ended
- Process a wide range of information from other professionals and work with physicians, caregivers, and nurses
- Closely monitor and record food intake, as well as urinary and fecal output, to be shared with key medical and nursing staff
