Rehabilitation Services Manager jobs in Urbandale, IA
Rehabilitation Services Manager plans and implements the overall rehabilitation functions policies, procedures, and services. Ensures efficient and effective operations for physical therapy, sports medicine, occupational therapy and speech departments. Being a Rehabilitation Services Manager identifies services through program planning and facilitates program development. May require an advanced degree. Additionally, Rehabilitation Services Manager typically reports to a director. The Rehabilitation Services Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Rehabilitation Services Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Assisting with therapy procedures

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
- This position requires the individual be able to walk/stand for up to 8 hours per day
- Frequent bending and lifting required
- Individual must be able to plan and facilitate time management skills
- Qualified individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Must be computer literate and have outstanding customer service skills.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
