Rehabilitation Services Supervisor - Home Care jobs in Fort Wayne, IN

Rehabilitation Services Supervisor - Home Care supervises the delivery of occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech/language pathology programs to patients in a homecare setting. Responsible for providing consultation and monitoring of the performance of the rehabilitation staff. Being a Rehabilitation Services Supervisor - Home Care provides clinical consultation. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Rehabilitation Services Supervisor - Home Care typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a license in the area of specialization. The Rehabilitation Services Supervisor - Home Care supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Rehabilitation Services Supervisor - Home Care typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     2. Provide homemaking services

    • dust, mop, vacuum

    3. Provide companion services

    • recreational activities
    • shopping for or with client, running errands, and escort client to/from appointments

    4. Preparation of simple meals

    5. Assistance with simple exercises and ambulation

    6. Assistance with transfer to the bedpan, commode or toilet

    7. Medication reminders

    Requirements:

    * Must be 18 years or older

    * Must possess a valid driver's license and insurance

    * Able to pass a pre-employment drug test

    * Must be able to pass background check

    * Must have smart phone with internet

    * CPR Certified

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

    Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

    Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
