Reimbursement Services Director - Home Care directs and supervises the activities of the benefits claims and provider reimbursement personnel in a home care environment. Sets procedures for filing reimbursement claims and ensures timely and accurate claims payments. Being a Reimbursement Services Director - Home Care monitors, evaluates and reviews all cost reporting in support of reimbursement claims. Produces the documentation necessary for reimbursement, Medicare Compliance, and control of receivables. Additionally, Reimbursement Services Director - Home Care may require an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Reimbursement Services Director - Home Care typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     A senior living facility in Port Huron is looking for an experienced Maintenance Director.

      • Project-based experience a plus
      • Must enjoy working around senior population


    Summary / Objective:
    The Maintenance Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility, both inside and outside, by maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the residents. They will oversee the maintenance of all facility plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical and equipment repair.


    Job Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

    • Respond to all building emergencies
    • Reviews Daily Log and Maintenance Log
    • Responds to requests and concerns from residents, family members and team members
    • Maintain all painted surfaces and flooring throughout the community
    • Prepare the rooms for new residents and assists with move-ins and move-outs
    • Maintain the grounds by collecting trash, sweeping the dumpster areas and cleaning first impression areas
    • Maintains the HVAC system to ensure proper air quality and comfortable temperatures
    • Test, schedules inspections and maintains proper documentation on the fire protection systems
    • Conducts fire and disaster drills following the appropriate policy and procedure guidelines
    • Perform all other duties as assigned


    Qualifications:

    • Experience and/or knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance
    • Experience in maintaining water source heat pumps a plus
    • Experience with OSHA and life safety regulations
    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Experience in a retirement community, nursing home or assisted living community a plus
    • Basic computer knowledge
    • Ability to multitask
    • Must be able to effectively communicate and document in English
    • Must be able to verify eligibility to work in the United States
    • Must pass a criminal background check
    • Must have a current TB test and Physical (if required by the position)


    Working Conditions / Physical Demands:

    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
    • Kneel, crouch and bend frequently
    • Must be able to stand for entire shift
    • Is subject to callback during emergency conditions (e.g. severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.)
    • May be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals
