Oceans Healthcare is seeking a dynamic professional for our Corporate Director Pharmacy Services.

The Corporate Director Pharmacy Services is responsible for the overall operation of the pharmacy department. The Director will focus on pharmacy business operations as they assist with inventory management, day to day operations, acquisitions, analytics, and revenue assessment.  The position requires extensive contact with Hospital Administrators, medical staff, nursing service, hospital staff, and non-hospital personnel (vendors, auditors).  In this role, the Corporate Director of Pharmacy Services will be responsible for delivering the highest levels of service, operational excellence, and value for our patients and internal stakeholders.

Essential Functions:

1. As the Corporate Director, you will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer to develop and execute the strategic business plan and drive financial performance.
2. Leads, mentors, and develops a team of business and clinical professionals, focused on operational excellence and efficiencies, supply chain management, and revenue cycle optimization.
3. Oversees and directs day to day operations of Pharmacy services, both hospital and retail related services pertaining to mail order pharmaceuticals.
4. Assures the ongoing development and implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services. Is responsible for responding appropriately when policies are broken by processing the issue through the proper channels, on an as needed basis.
5. Prepares and submits reports as necessary to any requiring department in accurate and timely manner on an as needed basis.
6. Interviews and evaluates the qualifications and competence of staff to be hired and designs orientation that Integrates employees needs, as well as pharmacy requirements; Maintains strict control over distribution and usage of controlled substances.
7. Responsible for the procurement, inventory control process, distribution and storage of all medications. Expiring drugs are removed from general distribution. Required on a daily basis.
8. Provides drug information and ensures that adequate drug references are available to the Pharmacy. Ensures pharmacy staff is always available to answer questions as needed.
9. Ensures quality pharmaceutical services are provided to patients and works collaboratively with Medical Staff, Nursing and other hospital departments on a regular basis.
10. All other duties as assigned.
