Reinsurance Specialist performs routine reinsurance administrative duties, such as maintaining records, processing and verifying new business. Organizes the preparation of monthly and annual reports and ensures reinsurance information has been recorded accurately. Being a Reinsurance Specialist performs reconciliation of premium billing statements and DAC tax calculations and maintenance of various reinsurance operations. Researches and resolves the more complex cases and provides guidance to others. Additionally, Reinsurance Specialist may review work performed by others and train new staff. Works towards industry designations (e.g., FLMI, ARA, ACS, etc.). Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Reinsurance Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Parents’ Foundation for Transitional Living, Inc., a private, nonprofit mental health residential program (non-treatment) for adults with serious and persistent mental illness is currently recruiting for a full-time Program Specialist.
The Program Specialist is a key member of our team who works with our residents to plan and implement activities that enrich their lives. Based on resident interests and needs, the Program Specialist initiates new groups, monitors existing groups, and works with Care Coordinators to ensure residents participate in programs that promote individual interests and goal achievement.
