Quality Control Technician 2
Position Summary and Scope
The Quality Control Technician 2 position is responsible for handling functions associated with Eldon James’ operations, including but not limited to; accurately counting finished product with a counting scale, correctly dispositioning parts and entering data into the ERP system, visually inspecting parts to determine the pass/fail status of the parts in both Cleanroom and non-clean room environments, lifting over 40 pounds throughout the work-day, prolonged periods (up to 8 hours) of standing/sitting and repetitive loading/unloading motions.
Organizational Relationships
The Quality Control Technician 2 reports to the Quality Floor Supervisor and or delegate. The Quality Control Technician 2 is responsible for maintaining working relationships and communication with other departments and Quality technicians.
Primary Responsibilities
· Perform daily calibration check for the counting scale
· Perform Industrial and Cleanroom tasks per standard operating procedures and guidelines
· Comply with proper Good Documentation Practices to meet quality standards
· Move product to proper location physically and using IQMS and IQRF
· Visual inspection of manufactured parts using defined pass/fail inspection criteria to determine the acceptability of the parts
· Package all finished goods into packages ready for dispositioning
· Double bagging and heat sealing for all Cleanroom product
· Ability to accurately use counting scales
· Disposition and generate appropriate labels for finished goods
· Update label qty's
· Restock Cleanroom department with Cleanroom bags
· Inventory Adjustments
· Sweeping/mopping floors on a daily/weekly basis
· Other duties as assigned
