Rental Technician, Sr. jobs in Cuyahoga Falls, OH

We are looking for a service technician to join our team at Sully’s Tool & Party Rental. This position includes maintenance as well as minor repairs of our rental equipment. Request ordering of parts, tools and equipment as necessary. Ideal candidate must be able to work well with others and be courteous, professional and knowledgeable with customers in regard to safety procedures and rental equipment.

JOB DUTIES:

• Troubleshooting and minor equipment repair
• Perform maintenance checks and seasonal maintenance
• Assist in loading and unloading all rental equipment
• Cleaning of equipment
• Log equipment condition before and after usage
• Explain proper operation and safety features of equipment to the renter and user
• Keep the equipment yard and shop organized
• Uphold company safety standards and ensure appropriate safety procedures are followed
• Perform other duties as requested

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Basic knowledge of construction equipment
• Mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of tools applicable to position
• Desire to learn

WORKING CONDITIONS

• May have exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, kerosene, and cleaning solvents

EDUCATION, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• A high school diploma / GED is preferred but not required
• Must be able to lift/move approximately 50-70 lbs.
• Customer Service Aptitude
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Equipment rental industry experience preferred
• Work a 40-hour work week and overtime as needed. Monday - Friday 8-4, Saturdays 8-11.
• Pay is based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
