Remote Opportunity
The Content Analyst - K12 Qualitative/Secondary will support our K12 school district clients by completing research projects utilizing both secondary and qualitative methodologies, with a primary focus on qualitative research. Qualitative research work will include the design, development, completion, and analysis of qualitative research projects, with a focus on in-depth interview (IDI) studies and focus groups (FG). For IDI studies, the Content Analyst will be responsible for developing or cleaning contact lists, designing interview guides, scheduling and conducting interviews, completing qualitative analysis, and writing reports for clients. Similarly, for FG studies, the Content Analyst will be responsible for cleaning contact lists, designing focus group protocols, scheduling and moderating focus groups, completing qualitative analysis, and writing reports for clients. The Content Analyst will also support secondary research projects requested by K12 clients as needed. Secondary projects may include literature reviews, policy and research briefs, and best practice and peer benchmarking reports. Some projects may involve components of both qualitative and secondary research.
Staff in this position are expected to manage multiple projects and tasks at various stages at once. This includes managing all logistical aspects of IDI and FG studies (e.g., participant recruitment, record keeping, distribution of incentives) to ensure that client deadlines are met. The work will allow for the swift development and refinement of a comprehensive set of research skills and processes to support our K12 clients.
This position will also include opportunities to manage and support the work of junior research staff on individual projects through project scoping and outlining, source identification, methodology creation, and project editing. Additionally, the Content Analyst may join calls with current clients to assist with project scoping and planning. This position will report to a senior member of the K12 Qualitative Research team.

Compensation
Hanover Research strives to create compensation and benefits programs that are competitive, equitable and fair. The compensation range for this role at the company is $54,720 - $79,350. Please note that the base salary offered is contingent on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Our base pay range is determined by the role and the market.
