Role Overview
The CrewBoss Customer Support Specialist works to develop and maintain relationships with direct customers, and distributors of CrewBoss products by aiding them with product and pricing questions, responding to order requests, entering and revising orders as needed, and enhancing customers overall experience with the company. They help to increase sales, and aid customers primarily through the utilization of the phone and other verbal and written forms of communication, such as email. They are expected to provide product knowledge and ensure customer satisfaction in all areas of the business. They also provide support to procurement regarding outside products and materials. This position reports to the CrewBoss VP of Sales.
Responsibilities
- Represents CrewBoss and its products in assigned areas
- Aid Sales in achieving and exceeding annual sales goals
- Respond to customer contacts through phone calls and email in a timely manner regarding orders, sales opportunities and understanding overall customer needs
- Perform accurate and timely input of customer orders into ERP system
- Develop new business opportunities through product knowledge and willingness to meet customer expectations
- Build and sustain relationships with customers focusing on long-term relationships. Evaluate customer satisfaction following order execution in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with marketing, production and shipping to ensure fulfillment and accuracy of customer orders
- Work with R&D on new product and custom orders
- Review data for errors and correct prior to order going into production
- Work with Production and the Warehouse to provide delivery dates and order updates
- Maintain detailed knowledge of company products
- Support procurement when needed.
- Purchase parts and services for production needs and schedule, to ensure on time delivery to the production floor.
- Analyze and work with production and vendors to eliminate possible shortages.
- Work with production to clarify purchases of departmental needs, and refine specifications for future purchase orders
- Make purchase decisions in accordance with company procedures and policies
- Work with production, receiving and warehouse personnel to continuously improve process and procedures
- Train new employees
- Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Engaging in repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers – typing and/or writing.
- Working frequently at close visual range (i.e. preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcription, computer terminal, extensive reading).
Qualifications
- Administrative, Sales or Customer support experience required
- Fluent in Microsoft Office
- Experience working with ERP system strongly preferred
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
