Supports research efforts related to energy efficiency and renewable energy in shellfish and seaweed farming. Work includes contributing to research project design, coordinating with study participants, and participating in fieldwork.
● Hands-on ability to install meters in electric or hydraulic systems
● Experience with MS Word and Excel
● Experience writing reports
● Experience working with numerical data sets
Minimum Qualifications:
● Eager to learn about energy systems
● Experience working in shellfish or seaweed farming
● Strong communication ability
Position Details:
This position is located on the Bristol Bay Campus in Dillingham, and flexible on-site/hybrid work arrangements may be considered by UA regulations. This is a part-time, exempt temporary staff position. New hires will be placed on the UA temporary staff salary schedule, Grade 77, based on education and experience.
