Reservoir Engineer is responsible for identifying oil and gas reserves and developing strategies to maximize recovery. Designs and tests new wells and monitors and predicts performance. Being a Reservoir Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Responsibilities include (not limited to):- Standing routine watches and maintaining logs
- Complete all preventative maintenance
- Participate and lead mandated drills and emergency procedures as directed by the USCG
- Safely maintain vessels systems
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs as needed
- Upkeep machinery spaces
- Communicate clearly with shore side facilities and peers
- Transferring of oil, water, and waste to and from the shore side
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Valid Merchant Mariner Credential with minimum Oilier rating
- Valid Transportation Worker Identity Credential (TWIC)
