Position Summary
The Sports Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of the sports club and intramural programs. They are responsible for game / match administration, individual / dual events, weekend tournaments, student officials (including training and evaluation,) and enforcement of all sport rules and policies established by Campus Recreation for our participants.
Supervisors are also responsible for acting as a liaison between the officials / participants, the Graduate Assistant for Intramurals, and the Associate Director for Intramurals.
Duties include :
- Takes immediate action in emergency situations, following protocols.
- Accountable for set-up and storage of Campus Recreation equipment.
- Appropriately settle player disputes.
- Answer student / player inquiries related to a specific sport or the overall program.
- Evaluate the job performance of student officials.
