The Assistant Director of Physical Therapy aides the Director of Physical Therapy in the planning and supervision of Physical Therapy Department while also providing inpatient acute care PT services. 

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the daily operations of the inpatient PT service.
• Mentoring of staff, including onboarding and performance appraisals.
• Serving as a clinical resource to other Rehab staff.
• Providing Physical Therapy inpatient services to cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, pulmonary and medical-surgical patients.

 Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy or Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.

• NYS Physical Therapy license and registration
• Strong communication skills
• At least 5 years of experience as a PT - 2 years of acute inpatient experience and 2 years of supervisory/administrative experience required.
• BLS certification 

The pay for this position ranges from $ – per hour/per year.
