Job Title: Respiratory Therapy Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the respiratory therapy department, ensuring quality patient care, and providing leadership and mentorship to a team of respiratory therapists.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the respiratory therapy department
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of respiratory therapists
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide direct patient care as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Manage department budgets and resources effectively

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in respiratory therapy
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
