Purpose of Position:
Assist guests with purchases, cashiering, stocking, and displaying items. Serving guests in an efficient and pleasant manner while accurately executing guest transactions and receiving guest payment.
Education/Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required, unless otherwise waived by Human Resources Management.
• Six (6) months of cash-handling experience required.
• Previous hospitality (casino, hotel, retail or guest services experience) preferred.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Serve Casino and Hotel guests in a pleasant and efficient manner while maintaining excellent service.
• Maintain inventory and supplies based on par level. Counting cash, separating charge slips, and preparing bank deposits.
• Ensure payment is made for merchandise order.
• Maintain and clean any display equipment, shelving, countertops, windows, and mirrors.
• Ensure display areas and countertops are properly cleaned and maintained throughout shift.
• Ensure all displays cases and beverage refrigerator/freezers are clean and stocked throughout shift.
• Display all prepackaged food and merchandise in accordance with ServSafe and other regulatory standards.
• Prepare and display all food and merchandise in accordance to ServSafe and other regulatory standards.
• Must be knowledgeable for full utilization of the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Maintain an organized work area for convenient guest interaction and safety.
• Maintain knowledge and answer guest questions regarding all general aspects of the Casino and Hotel related information.
• Assess each guest and recognize their needs for purchase.
• Properly bag or package purchases for guests.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (available for morning, mid, evening, and night shifts, weekends/holidays as required).
• Follows applicable TMCR company policies and procedures including Hotel Operations policies & procedures.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Access to Sensitive Areas: Hotel/Retail storage areas, email access and all sensitive areas when accompanied with authorization.
Must be able to work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
