Store Manager (Full Time. Must be 21 )

Retail Vape Shop – Lake Elsinore, CA 92532

Overview:

Our growing company in the vape electronic-cigarette industry is seeking a skilled, trustworthy and self-driven candidate. This person will be responsible for ensuring that sales goals are met, inventory is accurate, product is purchased, staff is providing exceptional customer service and other general tasks to keep the store running clean and profitable.

Job Description:

Tasks listed below are to be completed on a regular, or monthly basis. Not limited to these tasks; other tasks may be required.

• Motivate staff members to meet goals and expectations
• Maintain great customer service and quality
• Oversee maintenance requests, store cleaning procedures, and supply management
• Inventory Control (Manage Cycle Counts)
• Oversee store purchases and create Purchase Orders (Import POs into Lightspeed POS system)
• Have a good understanding of product and price points
• Oversee pricing and process return to vendor’s to maintain good stock
• Update marketing materials and support product promotions
• Cash Control (Process weekly bank deposits)
• Oversee coverage and create weekly schedules
• Manage and oversee attendance and tardiness
• Recruit, Train and Development of staff members
• Terminate underperforming employees
• Be an effective link between company headquarters and the store location
• Support, implement and reinforce store policies with staff
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, policies and internal controls
• Maintain paper and electronic filing systems for in store organization and to stay compliant with industry regulations

Requirements:

The minimum requirements for this position are listed below:

• Basic computer proficiency
• Basic skills in Microsoft Excel or GoogleSheets
• Basic skills in Google based programs including Calendar, Gmail, Docs and Sheets
• Reliable transportation
• Positive attitude, trustworthy, reliable and punctual
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management for tasks and workload
• Excellent attention to detail

Although not required, best applicants will also have:

• Ability to problem solve with a sense of urgency
• Ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision
• Capable of making good judgment
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn, improve and maintain

Experience:Management Experience: 2 years (Required)

Education: High school or equivalent (Required)

Language: English (Required)

Compensation:

Starting rate $18.00 (Rate depends on prior work experience and qualifications).

Schedule:

• 40 hours a week
• 30 minute lunch
• Overtime may be required
• Evenings and/or weekends are required

Work Location: One Location but travel to headquarters may be required periodically.
