Job Overview:

The Revenue Cycle Manager will oversee the entire revenue cycle process, ensuring the timely and accurate billing and collection of payments. This role involves managing billing operations, optimizing revenue cycle workflows, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle, including patient registration, billing, coding, claims processing, payment posting, and collections.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize revenue cycle processes and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track revenue cycle performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to resolve billing issues and ensure accurate charge capture.
• Manage relationships with insurance companies, ensuring timely and accurate claims submission and follow-up.
• Conduct regular audits of billing and coding practices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Implement and maintain revenue cycle management software and systems.
• Train and supervise revenue cycle staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Develop strategies to reduce denials, improve collections, and increase overall revenue.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in revenue cycle management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
• Proven experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, preferably in an ENT or specialty practice.
• Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and claims processing.
• Proficiency in revenue cycle management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards, including HIPAA.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in healthcare billing or coding (e.g., CPC, CPB).
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives and revenue cycle optimization projects.
• Ability to analyze complex data and generate actionable insights.
