Busy Surgical Practice in Boynton Beach is seeking a full time individual to oversee revenue cycle activities. Individual must have documented three-to-five-year experience with comprehensive knowledge of billing and collections in health care environment. Knowledge of Athena Health is preferred but not required.

This hands-on position requires a comprehensive knowledge of medical billing, revenue cycle reporting, collections, and current billing guidelines. This position requires skills to oversee the billing and collections, insurance benefits verification and preauthorization functions for the practice. Current knowledge of on-line processes for obtaining managed care information (eligibility and referral verification, claims adjudication and dispute filings, and claim status identification) is required.

This position requires strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and oversee revenue cycle activities. This is a supervisory and hands-on position that requires ability to extract and analyze revenue cycle monthly reports, and maintain continuous contact with office staff, insurance companies, referring physician’s offices and patients.

Duties include review and submission of claims, continuous monitoring of accounts receivables and collections activities.
