Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Director of Revenue Verification, the incumbent, either personally or through subordinates, oversees or ensures efficient performance of the Revenue Verification group and the accurate recording of gaming revenue.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
• Supervises and documents all gaming revenue sources and resulting entries to the financial system.
• Ensures all files are kept current and that documents have been prepared for off-site storage.
• Ensures balancing, auditing and assembling of the main cage and poker cage documentation.
• Assists with the preparation of Finance Department budgets.
• Controls gaming revenue accounting records.
• Assists Director of Finance in the preparation of all reports and submissions.
• Assists in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Arts/Science in Accounting or Finance is preferred as well as three (3) to five (5) years of related supervisory experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public. 
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
