Rig Operator is responsible for operation of the rig, crew, and equipment and for ensuring customer satisfaction with all services rendered. Ensures that all crew are at the rig and ready to work at scheduled time. Being a Rig Operator maintains productivity standards for all rig functions. Maintains a safe working environment and ensures compliance of applicable regulations and policies. Additionally, Rig Operator may require a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Rig Operator supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Rig Operator typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Responsibilities include operating and helping to repair, troubleshoot, and maintain a foundation drill rig. On the job training is provided. Drilling experience is required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean record. No DUI's. (Prefer a CDL but not required)
- Must be safety minded and be willing to wear PPE at all times.
- Must participate in a criminal background test and initial drug test
We provide full-time steady work. Our crews typically work 4 - 10/12 hours shifts Monday through Thursday with overtime opportunities on Fridays & Saturdays. Travel to perform jobs throughout the State of Arizona may be required but most of all the work is directly located in the greater Phoenix area. We offer PTO and benefits including dental, vision, and medical. Futhermore, we offer a great working environment and team atmosphere that is unmatched.
