Rig Operator operates rig equipment and tools in compliance with safety regulations and functional specifications. Assembles and prepares rig equipment for use and monitors and adjusts equipment as necessary. Being a Rig Operator is responsible for pre-operational checks and post-operational servicing to prevent wear and ensure continuous operation. Maintains detailed records on activities, inspections, and maintenance in compliance with required regulatory standards. Additionally, Rig Operator may require a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Rig Operator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Big Sky Scientific is one of the nation's largest bulk CBD production facilities. We take industrial hemp and run it through a solvent extraction process and then refine it into one of several different products we can sell to other businesses that will turn it into end consumer products. We are looking for motivated and hardworking individuals with strong moral values to work in our production plant. This role is hands-on and will support the shift manager and perform the following activities (NOT LIMITED to the following):
Education Requirements: High school graduate
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand most of the day and lift 50 pound objects
Travel Requirements: Only to Sun River
Transportation: Must be able to provide one's own means of transportation
Availability: Must be available for communication via cellular telephone at all times
Shift: Multiple available - Position is Monday through Friday for the first couple of weeks, but will transition onto one of four teams which work a rotating schedule that covers 24 hours a day / 7 days a week; Must be able/willing to work overtime and be flexible to different shifts
Must Pass Drug Test: Yes
