Monitors internal and external risk factors including economic, market, and regulatory risks to continuously maintain maximum protection of an organization's assets. Additionally, Risk Analyst supports managers in risk management or risk model construction. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Risk Analyst work is closely managed.     Integrity Risk International is a leader in the evolution, growth, and delivery of risk management services. We are actively looking for an Analyst to join our team in Reston, VA. The Analyst conducts online, open and primary source research across the foundational due diligence spectrum, from basic screenings to enhanced due diligence matters. Professional/advance/native level of reading proficiency and comprehension in a foreign language is required for some positions, dependent on client needs – Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic, German, Russian, Italian, French, Korean, Hebrew, Dutch, and/or Japanese. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with excellent benefits (e.g., health, dental, vision, and paid time off).

     

    What you will do:


    • Conducts due diligence research by using a variety of Internet-based resources and tools.


    • Handles screening and project matters with some oversight, moving towards independent work and showing growth in understanding of the enhanced due diligence process.


    • Creates professional, well-written reports with proper context that show comprehension of the subjects and all issues / concerns.


    • Partners cohesively with team members on research projects.


    • Incorporates research from outside consultants and investigators, ensuring quality, timeliness, and consistency.


    • Participates in committee meetings and activities pertaining to client work.


    What you bring:


    • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a major that required extensive qualitative research and writing skills (i.e., International Relation / Affairs, English, Journalism, or similar areas).


    • At least one year of work experience (internships accepted) in a professional setting, ideally handling related work (i.e., conducting qualitative research and writing narrative reports based on research findings).


    • Professional / advanced / native level of reading proficiency and comprehension in a foreign language (i.e., Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, German, Russian, Italian, French, Korean, Hebrew, Dutch, Japanese) preferred, but not required.


    • Avid interest and developed skills in Internet / online database research, preferably to include experience with resources such as Lexis Nexis.


    • Comprehension, analytical and critical thinking, as well as professional communication (oral and written), skills.


    • Superior attention to detail, to include ensuring all work is thorough, free of errors, and accurate.
