Human Resources:

Magic Mountain Ski Area is seeking a dynamic HR Coordinator / Risk and Safety Manager to join our team. This dual-role position combines human resources responsibilities with a focus on risk management and safety. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth HR operations while developing and implementing safety protocols to protect our staff and guests.

Human Resources:

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee records.
• Administer benefits programs and handle employee relations.
• Oversee performance evaluations and training initiatives.

Risk and Safety Management:

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Coordinate safety training programs and emergency response drills.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports and recommending improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in HR and risk management, preferably in a ski resort or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Pay: $23.75 - $27.50 per hour
