We are seeking a skilled Wood Splitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and using both hand and power tools. This position involves splitting wood for various projects.

Responsibilities:

- Operate wood splitting machinery to process logs into manageable pieces
- Inspect wood for quality and ensure it meets specifications
- Maintain equipment by performing regular checks and cleaning
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Experience:

- Previous experience in carpentry or woodworking
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of millwork and machining processes
- Ability to use calipers for accurate measurements
- Experience working in a warehouse setting

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
