Essential Functions:
Responsibilities –
· Cashes checks and redeems chips, tokens and coins.
· Informs supervisor of guest needs which may require special accommodations.
· Follows proper check-in procedures at start of shift.
· Follows proper checkout procedures at end of shift.
· Informs supervisor when additional coin or currency is needed during shift.
· Strives to initiate new customer credit applications.
· Make ship fills to the pit.
· Responsible for performing a wide variety of monetary transactions for the guest from the casino cage and assisting in the safeguarding of company assets by ensuring all distinguishing job duties are performed according to established company policies and procedures.
· Assists with tournaments.
· Learns every facet of the Casino Cage and Vault to be ready for promotion.
· Consistently welcoming guests, thanking them for their patronage and expressing your desire to have them return.
· Be informed on current casino events and relay information to customers with enthusiasm and accuracy.
· Provide guests with players cards in a prompt, courteous manner.
· Explain to guests the advantages to playing with a player’s card and how the points are accumulated.
Requirements:
· Money handling experience.
· Basic math skills.
· Ability to operate a 10 Key Adding Machine.
· Accurate typing skills.
· Ability to work in a noisy, stressful environment.
· Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
· Knowledge of computers.
· Knowledge of Title 31 as it relates to cage functions.
· Ability to effectively interact with guests and fellow team members in a professional and courteous manner.
· Ability to promote a positive and professional image of the Fitz Casino Hotel to all patrons and guests.
Must be 21 or older
