POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Beverage Supervisor will provide exceptional guest service on the Casino floor at the We Ko Pa Casino Resort. They will follow all guest service requirements provided in the We Ko Pa Way service guide and departmental training and adhere to a 4-diamond service level. Will perform duties in all casino and resort outlets as designated by business demands. Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and events needed by business demands.

Responsible for the front-of-the-house beverage operation of the department.
Must be able to work varied and extended hours to include holidays, weekends, evenings, and special events.
Responsible for the training of the beverage trainers.
Monitors bartender's pour and pour costs, guest, and Casino floor service, and resolves guest complaints.
Assigns employee responsibilities and monitors service for effectiveness.
Prepares required reports (daily, weekly, monthly) and counseling notices.
Must be familiar with various cashier point-of-sale systems.
Assists Beverage Shift Manager with education, training, and employee evaluations.
Recommends staffing and scheduling based on department needs.
Delegates specific jobs or duties to employees and follows up on operational standards.
May assist with closing and balancing of beverage cashiers at the end of shift.
May assist in covering for employees on breaks and fill in when needed.
Responsible for keeping all areas stocked.
Ensures that staff completes paperwork accurately and follows departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for maintaining a level of exceptional guest service standards.
Must be knowledgeable of all pertinent health and safety laws as required in the operation of the food facility.
Responsible for informing subordinates of any changes to the Standard Operating Procedures for each venue, the department policies and procedures, and the Casino policies.
May assist with special events and perform other related duties as required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain State/Tribal License (including extensive background check).
Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
Must receive and have a current Food Handler Card at all times.
Must have a valid food handler certification.
Must complete and maintain DRAM certification or another state-recognized training institution for alcohol safety.
Eventually, acquire the Management DRAM certification or another state-recognized training institution for alcohol safety.
Must complete the Management Title IV and Title 31 training through Human Resources.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role of a bar, casino, or restaurant with a focus on the beverage program.

Preference will be given to qualified applicants who are members of federally recognized Indian tribes. To be considered for Indian Preference, you must submit your Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) with your application.
