Day Shift : Monday-Friday, some Saturday hours as needed

Position Summary :

Set up, operate, and tend kettles & equipment used in the processing of maraschino cherries and bottling.

Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions :

Bottling Responsibilities

• Sanitize and inspect kettle for startup
• Heat up Kettle for production

Maraschino Responsibilities

• Must be comfortable working with hot liquids
• Some chemicals used in clean up
• Work involves operation of forklifts, when necessary
• Ensure prompt start time at the beginning of shift and after breaks. Adhere to applicable regulations, policies and procedures for health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment adhering to our good manufacturing practices

Minimum Position Requirements :

• Must be at least 18 years old
• ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
• High School diploma preferred, not required
• Forklift experience preferred, not required
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Must be willing to lift at least 50 lbs
• Must be able to climb stairs
