The successful candidate will be responsible for managing national inventory control and safety processes, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and driving operational efficiencies across all our warehouses.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee national inventory management strategies and processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse operations.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and regular audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Manage document control processes to ensure all records are accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with GFSI, SQF, and other food safety standards.
• Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures in line with industry best practices.
• Lead the training and development of warehouse staff on inventory management and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Track, analyze, and report on inventory trends and performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations related to inventory management and food safety.
• Manage and resolve any inventory discrepancies and safety issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in food safety management, with a strong understanding of GFSI, SQF, and other relevant standards.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex inventory data and make informed decisions.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to train and develop staff.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in relevant inventory management software and systems.
• A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Certification in food safety management or a related field would be an advantage.
• Able to travel 50% annually to all of our facilities.
