SAFETY MANAGER plans and manages the general health, safety, and loss control policies and procedures of the organization. Monitors and evaluates the workplace to ensure compliance with governmental regulatory agencies. Being a SAFETY MANAGER designs and directs safety training programs to reduce accidents, occupational illnesses, and exposure to long-term health hazards. Develops worker plans and policies for new employee safety orientation including skill training, emergency preparedness, proper job instruction, hazardous material disposal procedures, and the use of protective equipment. Additionally, SAFETY MANAGER studies, identifies, and reports causes of past accidents and develops recommendations and follow-up to prevent accident recurrences. Requires a bachelor's degree of occupational safety and health or related degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The SAFETY MANAGER manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. The Senior Business Development Manager works to develop new and potential accounts within a defined territory. The sales professional works with prospective clients to explore the strengths and weaknesses of their current life safety service program and works with a team of operators to develop and implement an effective sales strategy for either a single or a bundled solution. The Senior Business Development Manager owns the strategic selling process and communicates value to resolve the client’s issues. This person is responsible for the orchestration of the sales process, including the implementation and transition process for new business. This role is to sell Testing and Inspection contract services.
