Job: Systems Analyst 3
Work Location: Augusta, ME (Hybrid), (Majority remote, semi-local for onsite requests)
Must have Transportation exp
Client is looking for a Systems Analyst to help modernize legacy systems and manual processes. The role involves collaborating with the business to understand workflows, gather requirements, and assist with IT procurement (RFPs, contracts) and system implementations. The position will also act as the technical lead for COTS/Cloud-hosted implementation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead system management and support operations, ensuring service levels are met.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to define system management strategy.
- Develop disaster recovery, backup, and archiving plans.
- Liaise with support groups and manage high-priority support issues.
- Oversee technical infrastructure maintenance and manage resources.
- Work with IT RFPs, contracts, and transportation systems knowledge.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of networking and distributed computing.
- Client/server programming and routing principles.
- Systems engineering and requirements gathering.
- Experience with IT RFPs and contracts in transportation systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
