Status: Seasonal, Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Responsibility: Medium level of supervision needed. High level of operational decision making.

Reports To: Director of Golf

Supervises: Outside Services Staff

Skill:

• Basic Golf Skills – Grip, stance, swing, balance, tension recognition, golf instruction, knowledge of the rules of golf
• Advanced Management Skills – Decision making, planning, problem-solving, communication, delegation, time management, organization, interpersonal skills.
• Excellent Supervisory Skills – Communication, leadership, conflict resolution, motivation, interpersonal skills, understand diversity and generational differences.
• Excellent Teamwork and Communication Skills – Interact, work and relate with people, listen, speak, read, write, observe, use English fluently.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills – Product knowledge, problem-solving skills, time management, attentiveness, patience, positive attitude, a willingness to go the extra mile, responsibility, professionalism.
• Basic Safety Skills – Observe safety rules, safely operate equipment, food safety consciousness, CPR and First Aid.

Effort: Medium – Walk and stand for extended periods of time. Bend, reach, push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Work Conditions: Level 4 - Often outdoors, working in hot/cold environment, inclement weather, variable schedule based on business demands, often duties require working with hazards.

Duties:

• Hire, train and schedule the Outside Services Staff
• Assist in the daily operation of the Golf Car Fleet, Bag Storage and Practice Facilities
• Assist in the daily operation of Valet
• Assist in the administration of all golf tournaments and events
• Coordinate play on the course with the Golf Course Superintendent so as not to conflict with scheduled maintenance practices.
• Assist in the daily operation of on-course refreshments and accoutrements
• Play the game of golf at a basic level
