Sales Supervisor - Telesales oversees the daily activities of sales representatives with an assigned territory or portfolio of existing customers that primarily conduct remote sales calls. Utilizes marketing and field sales insights to understand customers' unique needs, market conditions, and competitors. Being an Sales Supervisor - Telesales implements sales strategies and supporting activities, including renewals, special offers, and discounts. Selects appropriate product information to meet the needs of individual customers, support upselling, and achieve sales targets. Additionally, Sales Supervisor - Telesales monitors team progress towards meeting targets and provides strategic coaching in selling and relationship-building skills. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Sales Supervisor - Telesales supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. - 5-plus years of job specific experience within manufacturing and tufting
- Proficient using a PC and other department specific databases, systems, and other hardware and software
- Proficient using all assigned department machinery and other related equipment
- Knowledge and skills required to perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and other basic operating problems
- Basic knowledge and understanding of HR policies, practices, and procedures as it relates to employee relations, hiring, and terminations
- Ability to use and apply basic mathematical principles and to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively interact with other management and hourly employees
- Must be able to walk long distances, climb on machinery, and stand for long periods of time; bending, crouching, and stooping will be required
- Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled facility
- May be required to work a flexible schedule to include evening and night shifts, weekends, and holidays
