Job Summary / Purpose:
The Regional Director of Infection Prevention plays a critical role in ensuring that patients, staff, and visitors are protected from the transmission of diseases and infections. They develop and maintain a comprehensive infection prevention program and provide support in all infection prevention-related activities. This includes compliance with accreditation standards, state and CMS regulations, Board of Stewardship Trustees established goals, performance improvement, mentorship of new Infection Preventionists, and education within their respective geography.

To qualify for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree in a related healthcare field (e.g. Nursing, Microbiology, Public Health) with a minimum of three years of experience in acute care and five years of Infection Prevention leadership. You must demonstrate adeptness in supporting the development of programs focused on achieving positive outcomes within infection prevention. Experience in an integrated health system is preferred, and experience in a matrix management environment involving the integration of multiple entities is also preferred.
