Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks in a industrial production setting.
- Conduct inspections of production equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Assist with breakdowns and repairs with pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical applications.
- Install new equipment as needed.
- Abilitly to work with others on more technical issues to increase knowledge of more advanced troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment and using required PPE safely.
Requirements:
- Electrical applications knowledge necessary as well as ability to troubleshoot and correct mechanical issues as well as electrical issues.
- Proven experience in industrial/facilities maintenance including pneumatic and hydaulic troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of plant production equipment including chillers and air compressors.
- Knowledge and understanding of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
- Knowledge of Arc Flash ratings and all PPE associated with Arc Flash hazzards.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards.
- Forklift certified. Must have knowledge of power tools and be able to use tools. Fabrication and design work including welding, grinding and cutting with a torch or plasma cutter.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical approach to troubleshooting. Must have execellent communication skills and be able to work alone or with a team when needed.
- Experience with PLC programming desired.
