Job Title: Business Process Consultant – Sustainability

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

Application specific solution consulting (for a specific application: creation of business blueprint, Implementation based on a blue print, creation of test cases, test scheduling and execution, key user training, go live support, and post go live support)

Responsible for delivery of outcome of assigned sub projects

Works independently within given area of responsibility (within defined policies and processes)

Contributes to milestones

Contributes and works on sub projects and activities with moderate level of complexity

Works independent & collaborative in nature

Provides regular updates to manager or project manager on project status

Has strong competence with various tools, procedures, programming languages used to accomplish the job

Builds collaborative work relationships with similar functions across SAP

Communicates clearly, in a way that others can understand within defined processes & policies

Communicates relevant messages in a timely manner and with constructive feedback to colleagues & managers

Drives business consulting by translating the customer's vision into solutions

Maps business processes to solution requirements

Helps position disruptive business innovation

Supports the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise

Supports solution design and configuration across multiple solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards

Participates in transition planning of customer solution landscapes

Drives deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs or industries

Supports pre-sales activities

Supports and delivers solution reviews and feasibility studies

Supports escalated projects

Supports partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success

Delivers customer workshops

Introduces SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates and content

Delivers solution training to customer project members

Creates project documentation and documentation of delivered services

Shows comprehensive understanding of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; delivers according to specification and provides feedback for continuous improvement

Supports in solution testing and issue resolution

WORK EXPERIENCE:

1-3 years of experience with SAP Sustainability solutions (Sustainability Footprint Management (SFM), Sustainability Control Tower (SCT), Responsible Design and Production (RDP) and Green Token).

Experience in working with BTP and public cloud solutions.

Exposure to Batch Release Hub (BRH) is preferred.

Knowledge on SAP EHS and Product Compliance solutions is a plus.

Knowledge on SAP Activate Methodology

Soft skills: excellent written and verbal communication, workshop facilitation, and building long lasting relationships with customers

EXPECTED TRAVEL
Depending on the customer engagement, travel is about 0 to 80% per year

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

University degree or equivalent work experience

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 68800 - 156800(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
