Sarbanes Oxley Analyst implements and coordinates an organization's auditing strategy and activities for regulatory compliance. Deploys internal controls, best practices, and strategies to identify process deficiencies and implement improvements. Being a Sarbanes Oxley Analyst gathers, analyzes, and consolidates data for required regulatory reporting to fulfill content and scheduling requirements. Supports external regulatory inspections and internal audits and may coordinate document reviews, protocol reviews, validation reviews, and training programs as part of auditing processes. Additionally, Sarbanes Oxley Analyst maintains and updates a knowledge base or information system of the financial regulations, required processes, and industry/regulatory agency standards that govern a business or a product. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Sarbanes Oxley Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.   • Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Regulatory Analyst.  Reporting to the Regulatory Manager, the Regulatory Analyst will be responsible for coordinating regulatory filings, communicating regulatory requirements, and coordinating compliance activities in a fast-paced environment.  The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and administrative skills, with experience working with the Texas Railroad Commission (TRRC) and/or the New Mexico Oil Conservation Division (OCD).

    General Responsibilities:
    • Prepare, submit, track, and manage regulatory and compliance filings including W-1, GAU, W-2/G-1, P-16, SWR-13 Exception, P-4, P-8, P-17, SWR-32 Exception, etc.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with TRRC
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and procedures
    • Communicate regulations to Operations/Land/Development staff
    • Coordinate with Engineering/Land/Operations/Geology to collect well data
    • Respond to agency inquiries/complaints/certified letters

    Position Qualifications:
    • 3 years of experience, preferably in a small or mid-size oil and gas company
    • Experience working with the TRRC and/or NMOCD
    • High degree of organization and efficiency with demonstrated attention to detail
    • Superior ability to prioritize activities and meet all deadlines
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to research and comprehend rules and regulations
    Compensation & Benefits Information:
    • Salary range is approximately $61,000 - $80,000, depending on specific experience*
    • Other forms of compensation for this position include:
      • Target bonus of 15% of base salary (discretionary based on company and individual performance)
