Sarbanes Oxley Analyst implements and coordinates an organization's auditing strategy and activities for regulatory compliance. Deploys internal controls, best practices, and strategies to identify process deficiencies and implement improvements. Being a Sarbanes Oxley Analyst gathers, analyzes, and consolidates data for required regulatory reporting to fulfill content and scheduling requirements. Supports external regulatory inspections and internal audits and may coordinate document reviews, protocol reviews, validation reviews, and training programs as part of auditing processes. Additionally, Sarbanes Oxley Analyst maintains and updates a knowledge base or information system of the financial regulations, required processes, and industry/regulatory agency standards that govern a business or a product. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Sarbanes Oxley Analyst work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.   • This position is responsible for assisting the Billing & A/R Manager with various tasks and will also be responsible for processing OE customer orders, review of contract, prepare invoices and email to customers, work with logistics personnel to perform steps required to complete the picking and billing process.PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following:• Review purchase orders and contract for accuracy regarding payment terms, shipping terms and order requirements• Email daily all invoices and monitor e-addresses per customer contact, plus populate into customer portal additional information when/if required• Assist Billing Manager to complete all records of invoices and support documents in accordance with SOX• Review and prepare monthly reports of OR equipment orders• Audit preparation for OEM billings• Reconcile billing discrepancies• Responsible for project number assignments and proper setup• Responsible for OE billings/invoicing to ensure accurate/timely billing• Prepare commercial invoices for OE equipment to ensure accurate invoicing and incoterms are followed• Responsible for maintaining spreadsheets of current status for all projects and billing• Assisting Manager in final processing of RMA’s to assure proper authorization signatures are obtainedKNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Minimal requirements for education, knowledge and experience:• Minimum of an Associate Degree is a must• 2 years Billing/Customer service in a manufacturing setting is a plus• 5 years in administration, filing/organization skill (AR/AP/Billing or CS)• Familiarity with industry terminology• Highly proficient skills in Excel and Outlook is a must• Extreme attention to detail• Ability to work with minimal supervision• Ability to manage a wide variety of activities and functions simultaneously• Excellent interpersonal skillsPHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: This position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:• Work schedule generally consists of 40 hours per week, which may include on-call status, Flexibility to work overtime during peak periods, when/if required• Ability to work in a manufacturing office environment• evenings, and/or weekends.• Ability to lift/maneuver 20 pounds.
