Deploys internal controls, best practices, and strategies to identify process deficiencies and implement improvements. Being a Sarbanes Oxley Analyst gathers, analyzes, and consolidates data for required regulatory reporting to fulfill content and scheduling requirements. Supports external regulatory inspections and internal audits and may coordinate document reviews, protocol reviews, validation reviews, and training programs as part of auditing processes. Additionally, Sarbanes Oxley Analyst maintains and updates a knowledge base or information system of the financial regulations, required processes, and industry/regulatory agency standards that govern a business or a product. The ASTA Group is seeking candidates and currently reviewing resumes of Program Analysts with military/Navy training development experience. You must hold or be eligible for a DoD issued Security Clearance which required US Citizenship. Ideal candidates will have proficiency in Navy/Marines Training and Development but other military branches will be considered as well.
Youwill:
• Conduct research, analyze data, identify trends, and prepare reports, determineprogram requirements and make recommendations.
• Analyze programs, policies, procedures, and systems and makes recommendationsto optimize these programs.
• Make recommendations for drafting new or revising existing policies andprocedures, assists program managers with the development of budgets andschedules.
• Assist with tracking metrics.
• Advise program managers with regard to planning, testing, and implementing newprograms or systems, identifies and resolves issues and problems, plans,analyzes, and evaluates the effectiveness of operations and programs,prepares and presents reports and recommendations.
Proficiencyusing MS Office Suite applications is required
