Position Summary
We have openings in our manufacturing operation. This is an exciting opportunity to receive training and become familiar with various manufacturing processes and equipment used in our production operations. We are seeking skilled and versatile individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced working environment and handle different tasks required for daily operations. Responsibilities
- Plan and layout work to meet production and schedule requirements.
- Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure quality production, using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Follow all standard operating procedures for setup, operation, shutdown, and maintenance of daily production equipment.
- Accurately record and document production activities, and provide production, progress, or changeover reports to shift supervisors.
- Develop and implement new processes and process improvements as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace to 5S standards.
- Manage inventory using the inventory management system as it applies to the assigned operation.
- Stay up-to-date with efficient methods of production and equipment maintenance procedures.
Skill and Education Requirements:
- Associate degree or certificates in a technical or science/engineering-related field are preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to read and carefully follow instructions.
- Good mechanical aptitude, fine assembly skills, and good motor skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as a team.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple tasks to meet production schedule.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of computers, Microsoft Office, and inventory management systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
