Additionally, Scientist - Clinical Research interacts with other scientists within and outside of the organization. Provides recommendations that influence extensive clinical research activities. Requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to head of a unit/department. The Scientist - Clinical Research work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Expected pay for this position is $35.33 - $41.57/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assists management in overseeing and directing work of technical personnel engaged in performing various routine and complex laboratory tests. In doing so, establishes work priorities, organizes and assigns work to Clinical Laboratory employees. Performs more complex and/or non-routine testing procedures and regularly checks validity and accuracy of test results obtained by laboratory personnel. Performs the duties of lab technical personnel on a regular basis. Independent judgment and professional education and certification are required.
