Job Title – Scientist

Location – New York, NY 10016

Duration – 06 Months (Extendable)

Pay Rate: $41.00/hr on W2

Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Masters in Biology, Biochemistry, or related scientific discipline

• 3 months of experience, either academic or in industry including internships/co-ops

• Must be proficient in cell culture and aseptic technique

Description:

• Preferred experience in ddPCR, ELISA/MSD, cell-based assays, flow cytometry assay development

• Previous experience in analytical development with hands-on experience with analytical instruments

• Demonstrated proficiency and ability to deliver goals

• Preferred familiarity with the fundamentals of ICH and other industry guidelines supporting method development, qualification.

• Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills; adaptive learning, critical thinking, and the ability to work well in a team

Responsibilities:

The Biologist will be responsible for the routine testing and assist with the establishment of new methods for characterization of AAV in novel targets for neurodegenerative disorders. The Scientist will interact with other departments and coordinate efforts across departments. The ideal candidate will have a track record of molecular biology and developing assays.

• Responsible for routine and release analytical testing using ddPCR, ELISA/MSD, and setting up cell-based potency assays, flow cytometry assays

• Routine lab maintenance of aliquoting, cell culture maintenance

• Generate SOP documents and author CoT’s
