Job Overview:

Godfathers Pizza in Detroit Lakes, MN is seeking a dependable and reliable Dough Master to join our team! Our Dough Masters are responsible for preparing the dough that our delicious pizzas and other food items are created from!

Our Dough Masters help to achieve our mission by following specific recipes and methods to meet the restaurant's standards of quality and excellence for making dough from scratch. The ideal candidate will be energetic, friendly, honest and have a passion for pizza and customer service, to ensure a seamless experience for our guests! This is a Part-Time position, 15-20 hours per week.

Work Days: Wednesday through Sunday

Work Schedule: Start time is flexible, between 7am-9am, completing 3-4 hour shifts, with a minimum of working two weekends per month.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Combine measured ingredients in bowls of mixing or blending machinery
• Measure or weigh flour or other ingredients to prepare dough
• Check the quality of raw materials to ensure that standards and specifications are met
• Adapt the quantity of ingredients to match the amount of items to be baked
• Set time and speed controls for mixing machines so that ingredients will be mixed according to instructions and standards
• Properly handling, labeling, storing, and rotating inventory
• Check equipment to ensure that it meets health and safety regulations, and perform maintenance or cleaning, as necessary.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing and sanitizing surfaces, sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, rotating and stocking supplies, and other kitchen maintenance tasks
• Work as a team member to ensure constant and consistent quality, service, cleanliness and value to each customer
• Participate in required education and training programs
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by management

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferred
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices, preferred
• Strong communication skills, required
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Customer-oriented and positive attitude
• Trustworthy, respectful and honest
• Hard working and dependable
• Prioritization and time management
• Working quickly without compromising quality
• Ability to take direction from supervisors
• Ability to work as a member of a team

Educational Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent General Education Diploma; or
• Combination of education and work experience
• General math and writing skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, lift, reach, walk, bend, and kneel.
• Ability to use both hands and arms to lift and reach.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Other Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Reliable Transportation
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the position
• Morning and Weekend availability
