TOP Consulting is hiring a Scrum Master to join our team. As a Scrum Master you will be responsible for building high performing Scrum teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record leading multiple initiatives in an agile environment. Superior communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work across the organization, excellent analytical skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to participate in a team environment are keys to this position. This role will be based on PST.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the Technical team and the Business team in an Agile development process
• Responsible for enacting Scrum values and practices including training team members on the agile methodology and best practices
• Guards and shields the team from distractions and interruptions from external interferences
• Enables close cooperation across all roles and functions
• Promote and participate in the continuous improvement of structure, processes, tooling to enable the teams to deliver more value
• Organize and facilitate standups, release and sprint planning, reviews, demos, and retrospectives
• Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation
• Engineer a project with an eye towards rapid iteration and creative problem solving
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Escalate issues when required
• Provide status updates as warranted
• Demonstrate ability to effectively work on multiple assignments, activities or projects as required
• Demonstrate ability to effectively work on large, complex projects spanning multiple applications
• Dedicated to exemplary customer service
• Ability to effectively communicate with various levels within all departments of the organization and facilitate meetings with a business and a technical audience
• Business process and technical writing experience
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communication style
• Demonstrated deep experience with software application lifecycle methods, processes, and tools
• Proven ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships.

Qualifications:

• 5 years working as a Scrum Master
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• Experience working with and coaching a team that is new to scrum
• Experience with data engineering teams (Business Intelligence, data warehouse, etc) preferred
