Scrum Master, Sr. coordinates a cross-functional Agile development team utilizing the principles and tools of the Scrum Framework. Assumes a servant leadership role to support a self-organized team to complete Scrum projects. Being a Scrum Master, Sr. identifies and removes impediments to progress. Facilitates sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, demos, and retrospectives. Additionally, Scrum Master, Sr. identifies and manages the backlog. Supports, coaches and mentors team members. Tracks daily sprint progress and maintain schedules. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Typically reports to a director. The Scrum Master, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated and detail-oriented construction estimator to join our team!

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:
    • Examine drawings and specifications for job requirements, quantity takeoff and pricing.
    • Perform material and systems take off as required.
    • Draft bid scopes of work and final buy-out scopes of work.
    • Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers, set up scope and prepare bid documents/forms.
    • Examine existing conditions and attend pre-bid meeting.
    • Compile estimates, rough order of magnitude budgets, cost-benefit analysis, constructability reviews, and engage in value analysis.
    • Assist with determination of schedule.
    • Coordinate project buyout and hand off to Operations Staff.
    • Coordinate scope reviews with subcontractors and provide subcontractor recommendations based upon these reviews.
    • Search for and qualify potential new Subcontractors, suppliers, methods, equipment, etc. for competitive advantages.
    • Work collaboratively with project team to ensure positive results.
    • Assist Business Development to prepare conceptual estimates and attend meetings with Owners for interviews, scope determination and value engineering.
    • Utilize On-Screen Take Off, Excel, Building Connected, Procore, Bluebeam, and all other estimating systems utilized by the company.
    • Supervise subordinate team members.
    • We are looking for self-motivated and organized team members who enjoy working in a collaborative environment.

    SKILLS:
    • 5 years experience in construction estimating.
    • Able to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates.
    • Strong understanding of hospitality or healthcare construction help, but not required.
    • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
    • Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
    • Impeccable problem-solving skills.
